StriveYPG (Strive Young Professionals Group) invites you to participate in a candidate meet and greet followed by a formal debate.

Not sure who you are voting for yet? Do you have a question you want to ask the candidates? Do you care about the future of Sault Ste. Marie? This is an event you won’t want to miss.

MP candidates from Sault Ste. Marie will discuss matters most important to young professionals. The current workforce, future workforce, young and future entrepreneurs will have a chance to meet all candidates and participate in a debate geared specifically to the future of Sault Ste. Marie.

Join Strive Young Professionals Group on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Grand Gardens Downtown for this event:
    •    5:30 - 6:30 p.m.: Candidate meet and greet - The evening will start with an informal meet and greet for all candidates and attendees. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
    •    6:30 - 7:30 p.m.: Candidate debate - Promptly at 6:30 p.m., candidates will be introduced and Jairus Patterson will moderate the live debate.

About StriveYPG

Strive Young Professionals Group was developed in 2012 by the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce to fill a representation gap for individuals between the age of 19 to 40. This subcommittee of the Sault’s Chamber of Commerce has an elected executive which is rotated annually based on its active membership’s votes. The elected executive of Strive work with other groups, individuals, and businesses inside the community to provide networking events, learning development opportunities, and community involvement initiatives.
