Dear Sandra, Jim, John and entire family. Paul was the definition of a gentleman. I was blessed to call him my friend. He was kind, sincere, gentle, considerate, generous, loving and thoughtful. He enriched the lives of all who knew him. We met as Batchawana cottage neighbours. A friendship that offered countless memories. He was always near by for a conversation, book share, historical map discussion, a boat ride to the Sandies or any help/imput on any cottage project we had in the works. He fascinated me with his knowledge, history and deep love of the Batchawana area. I will cherish the memory of Paul puttering in his cottage garage while he listened to the beautiful voice of Pavarotti...as it soared through the trees. Rest well my friend. My deepest condolences to Mark and Neill...my heart aches to hear this news. We have lost a pure, kind, and gentle soul. Johanne was a beautiful person.
I harbour such fond memories of our friendship, adventures and time together when our sons were young. I witnessed her exceptional mother love for her beloved Neill while her health concerns were a daily challenge.
May comfort, healing and peace surround Mark, Neill, Carol, Karen and the entire Cheney and Fesko families at this time. My thoughts and love go out to each of you. My deepest sympathy. Rest easy my friend. You will be so missed.
