NEW YORK (AP) — Boston Bruins star Brad Marchand was suspended six games by the NHL on Wednesday night for roughing and high-sticking Pittsburgh goalie Tristan Jarry the previous day. It is Marchand's eighth career suspension and second this season.

FLINT, Mich. — The Flint Firebirds needed overtime to overcome the Kitchener Rangers in a high-scoring encounter. Firebirds' Brennan Othmann netted the overtime winner as Flint (24-14-0-2) won 8-7.
