Knights to face Widdifield in NOSSA football final

The St. Mary's Knights will prepare this week to face North Bay's Widdifield Wildcats for the Northern Ontario Secondary Schools Association (NOSSA) senior division football championship. The game is scheduled for Saturday in North Bay.

The St. Mary's Knights will prepare this week to face North Bay's Widdifield Wildcats for the Northern Ontario Secondary Schools Association (NOSSA) senior division football championship.

The game is scheduled for Saturday in North Bay.

The Wildcats advanced to the final after hammering Sudbury's Lockerby Vikings 38-2 in North Bay this past Saturday in the NOSSA semi-final.

The eventual NOSSA champion will advance to the Central Bowl to face a Barrie area representative while the loser will face a Thunder Bay squad in the Northern Bowl. Both games will be held at Esther Shiner Stadium on Saturday, November 26 in North York.

The newly renovated Esther Shiner Stadium is located on the northwest corner of Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West.
