The High School Football League released their senior and junior division all-stars on Tuesday with Sir James Dunn's Frank Weise taking top honours.

Weise, in his final year of high school football, was selected as the Denman Most Valuable Player in the senior loop and shared the Sault Steeler Defensive Player of the Year award with St. Basil's Rob Amadio.

For the MVP award, Weise edged out nominees Dan Vaz (Bawating), Alanzo Clarke (White Pines), John Mullin (St. Mary's), Rob Amadio (St. Basil) and Christian Johnson (Korah).
