Northern Ontario avoided a critical fourth loss at the Tim Hortons Brier in London with a 7-5 win over British Columbia's Jim Cotter on Monday night. Brad Jacobs and his rink from the Soo Curlers Association moved into a fifth place log jam at 2-3.
