Some people are thinking Rod Aubertin should keep away from the intersection of McNabb and Great Northern Road.

When the webmaster of Saultracers.com drove past at 8:22 a.m. yesterday, he snapped a series of photos of a three-vehicle crash involving a City of Sault Ste. Marie pothole truck.

Then, when he went back over the lunch hour, there was a second crash, involving entirely different vehicles.

And Rod took more pictures for us.

City Police tell us the second crash occurred at 11:30 a.m., involving a car and a truck.

The car was southbound on Great Northern.

The truck was traveling east on McNabb.

Police believe the truck ran a red light, and was then hit by the car.

The driver of the car and a passenger from the truck suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the truck was charged with failing to stop for the light.
