FENWICK TWP, ON - On July 9, 2012, at approximately 12:30 a.m. and OPP officer on general patrol on Highway 552 East observed a red Ford Econoline van weaving on the roadway.

The vehicle was stopped and further investigation revealed that the driver had been consuming alcohol.

Twenty-nine-year- old Sheldon Michael Jaaskelainen of East St. Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was arrested and charged with driving a motor vehicle exceeding 80 milligrams blood alcohol content contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released on a promise to a appear for provincial court on August 13, 2012, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
