POLL: People sure love those Rudolph deer crossing signs

Someone has secretly placed red noses on deer crossing road signs across St. Joseph Island, and the vast majority of SooToday readers think it's hilarious

Clearly, the Christmas spirit is alive and well on St. Joseph Island.

As SooToday reported on Saturday, local residents have been talking for weeks about the Rudolph noses someone secretly placed on deer crossing road signs throughout the island.

Our story included a poll, asking readers to weigh in on what they really think about the red dots.

The results are in — and the numbers confirm that the vast majority of people still have a sense of humour.

Of the 534 readers who answered the poll, only 15 (less than 3 per cent) said the person responsible should be prosecuted for tampering with road signs.

Most respondents (500 in total) chose either “Merry Christmas!” or “This is fabulous — just what I needed.”

Bottom line: people sure do appreciate this mystery person’s reindeer games.
