Michelle, Craig and Kathy are Bob's heroes

SooToday.com received the following letter from grateful dog-owner Bob Hull, responding to an earlier SooToday.com story about a dog rescued by local hero Michelle Fitton on Saturday, September 11.

It was Hull's dog that Fitton saved.

***************************** My name is Bob Hull and my dogs were the ones mentioned in a story submitted to you earlier by Hannah Fitton.

Michelle Fitton is a my hero.

She saved my dog Murphy who was trapped on high in the King Mountain area.

Along with Craig and Kathy Brown, she rescued Murphy from a certain death.

The Browns heard him barking and howling for help.

Making this story even more incredible was that they saw my other missing dog, Kia, and managed to capture her for me.

These people were the true champions for saving my dogs.

Murphy had been missing for seven nights and Kia for 11.

The selflessness of Michelle, Craig and Kathy are a true inspiration to us all that there are people out there who will go the extra lengths to help total strangers.

I would not have found my dogs without them.

For that, I and my dogs will be forever grateful.
