In an effort to encourage Sault consumers to support the area's increasing and creative arts scene, SooToday.com hopes our readers will consider shopping local this holiday season.
From now until Christmas, we will be showcasing the work of local artists and craftspeople with this new weekly feature.
This week's feature highlight's the work of Samantha Quinn and essCreations.

Samantha uses glass and plastic beads to create elegant jewellery and accessories.

About essCreations
My jewellery pieces are colourful and fun accents to any outfit, style, or personality.
I try to make every piece unique and original, with the inspiration from my colour combinations coming from nature and day-to-day life; like fall leaves, or a sunset.
I've been experimenting with making different beaded jewellery since I was a young girl and my mother and I used to bead together.
Until recently I only ever made pieces for myself, but I have found that beading is relaxing for me and I love to make custom orders for others.
Perhaps the most fun part of creating pieces is playing around to see what colours and styles work, and constantly trying new things!
