WHITE RIVER, ON – On Sunday September 23, 2012, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) White River Detachment were conducting stationary radar on Highway 17 in Hunt Township.

A 1988 Honda Prelude bearing an Alberta marker was stopped for a Highway Traffic Act violation.

It was turned over to police by the driver and marijuana residue was found inside.

The driver, 34-year-old Dwayne Zwicker of Calgary, Alberta, was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana.

As a result the accused was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and he is to appear in Wawa Criminal Court on November 19, 2012, to answer to this charge.
