GALLERY: Demolition crew rips down former Red Lobster, Pennington's

Not known yet whether structure is being flattened to make room for additional parking or a new retail space

Demolition crews were back at work Tuesday morning tearing down the former Pennington's retail store on Northern Avenue East at Great Northern Road.

According to an overhead map of the plaza posted online by the new owners, five retail units will be built where the structure once stood — and one would-be tenant might be a popular breakfast restaurant.
