********************** Greetings from Maniwaki, Quebec! This is the first time ever I won't be home for Christmas.

So, when I read that SooToday.com had the holiday greetings back this year, I figured what a great opportunity this is to wish everyone at home Merry Christmas. Here in Maniwaki, Quebec my fiancée Kelly and I are both teachers at the local English high school, Maniwaki Woodland.

The kids here are great, and the weather is exactly like home, (well maybe a little more snow in the Soo).

Also, in this little town of only 4,500, the people here have been so inviting and helpful.

Our new friends here are like family, which really helps when you miss home.

The only thing that is really depressing is that there is school right until December 23, which means a 10-hour drive home is probably not the best idea.

For Christmas this year instead I will be in Brighton, Ontario, spending the holiday with my fiancée's family. I can’t wait until December 26, when I fly home for New Year's. Thanks again SooToday.com!

And Merry Christmas to everyone in Sault Ste. Marie! Sincerely

Adam Walz Kelly Muir Chance the Dog
