Loyal reader Louis Parent took this photo last week on Highway 17 between Batchawana Beach and Pancake Bay Provincial Park.
"Please remind motorists travelling north to keep an eye out for these unpredictable creatures that do wander onto our roadways," he wrote in an accompanying e-mail.
