Autopsy confirms Tara Grant's cause of death

Media reports out of Detroit this afternoon indicate that an autopsy on the remains of Tara Lynn Grant has confirmed she died from strangulation. The autopsy was completed this morning.

Media reports out of Detroit this afternoon indicate that an autopsy on the remains of Tara Lynn Grant has confirmed she died from strangulation.

The autopsy was completed this morning.

Channel 4 television is reporting that authorities believe Stephen Grant (shown) got into a fight with his 34-year-old wife, strangled her and then took her body to a family-owned tool and die shop.

It's thought that the woman was dismembered there.

Stephen Grant was arrested yesterday near Wilderness State Park near Mackinac.
