A positive case of COVID-19 has been identified at Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre.
The inmate, a recent transfer to the jail in Sault Ste. Marie, is now subject to isolation protocols, a source close to the situation told SooToday Monday.
The first positive case of COVID-19 at Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre was identified in mid-October.
