City police issued a release this afternoon that Eric Mearow was one of six people arrested after the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Simpson St.

Constable Sonny Spina has confirmed with SooToday that Eric Mearow is currently in police custody.
Mearow, one of three men convicted of manslaughter in the 2011 death of Wesley Hallam, was released from prison on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.
Charges are pending and SooToday will post additional information as it becomes available.
