Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are asking for your assistance in identifying a suspect in a theft.  

On the March 9, 2018 at approximately 3:10 p.m. a male attended at the Metro food store located at 275 Second Line West.

The unidentified male proceeded to take several grocery items that included meat and placed them in a basket.

The suspect proceeded out the store with the basket of groceries passing the cashier and walked out without paying for the items.

This incident was caught on camera and can be viewed on our YouTube page by searching “SSM and Algoma Crime Stoppers.”

If you can identify this person and your tip leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward.
