A new partnership between the University Health Network and Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd. aims to broaden the pool of health care professionals with expertise in Hepatitis C, thereby increasing the number of health care professionals who diagnose, treat and manage the disease. The groundbreaking new program, which is a result of the multi-year partnership between the two organizations, is called Link-C.

Locally, the Algoma Hepatitis C Program helps provide diseases management, support and education to people living with, or at risk of acquiring Hepatitis C in our region. The Algoma Hepatitis C Program is sponsored by the Group Health Centre and funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Hepatitis C Secretariat.
