VIDEO: Finnish baby box tradition arrives to Sault area

Baby boxes are not only a valuable starter kit for new parents, but are also proven to help save lives.

Following in the footsteps of Finland's 75-year old tradition of giving baby boxes to new parents, the Prince Township Best Start Hub is now distributing baby boxes to area residents. The Baby Box program was recently launched in Ontario, providing new parents with some newborn essentials, and a safe sleeping spot for infants. The free boxes are available by filling out a registration form here: www.babyboxuniversity.com
