Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the public’s help in solving a theft.

On Monday, Aug. 28, 2017 between 9:30 p.m. and 10:05 p.m., Christie’s RV Sales and Service located on Trout Lake Road in Aweres Township had parts stolen from several company vehicles. The exhaust systems had been cut and five catalytic converters stolen.

Video footage shows older model black short box Chevrolet pickup truck  turning in from Highway 17 North onto Trout Lake Road and onto Macintyre Road, shutting off its headlights. Two males can then be observed walking the bush line at the rear of Christie’s RV building. The first male is wearing a hoodie, carrying what appears to be a black tool bag with the second male following from behind. They are then observed leaving the property with the parts.

Anyone with information regarding this this can contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at (705) 942-7867 or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Type a tip through our website at www.saultcrimestoppers.com or text the keyword SSM along with your tip to 274637.
