With our unpredictable weather and limited existing facilities, an indoor play centre was a need two moms and entrepreneurs saw in our community. So, they built one. Tanya Running and Linda Huber have recently opened the doors to the Treehouse Children's Centre on Second Line. The play centre provides a space to keep children active during the long winter months (as well as year-round), while also giving parents a place to relax and mingle while their children enjoy a safe environment.

The centre is available for birthday parties, provides full PD day care, and a before and after school program. Treehouse is also baby friendly, with an area dedicated to baby play. They aren't excluding the older kids though--there is a playroom at the back of the facility that has games and activities dedicated to the older crowd.

If you're a parent interested in checking out what the city's newest centre has to offer, they will be hosting an Adults Grand Opening Event on Friday, November 22nd at 7 p.m. On December 1st, they will also be hosting a Family Holiday Party. For more information on the new indoor play centre, visit: www.treehousechildrenscentre.com.
