Several superheroes were spotted at Dock's Riverfront Grill on Thursday, joining together for a good cause.

The United Way held their mid-campaign Halloween luncheon to share the status of the annual fundraising campaign.

Among the activities scheduled for the event, which was hosted in partnership with the Public Relations and Event Management students at Sault College, were interactive games, costume prizes and a photo booth sponsored by Chandra Barnett Photography.

Campaign Chair David Gearing shared with the crowd in attendance that $316, 177.00 has been raised so far for the campaign, which is now at its half-way point. He added he is very pleased with the campaign's progress.

The event was not only a way to thank everyone for their contributions to the campaign so far, but also to encourage further support from the community.
