Ontario Minister of Natural Resources David Orazietti was in Wawa yesterday to announce a plan that will see the repurposing of an oriented strandboard mill in the small community about a two-and-a-half hour drive up Highway 17 north from Sault Ste. Marie. The planned new facility will employ 35 workers and support an additional 200 forest industry jobs in surrounding communities. Here's what Orazietti had to say about it.
