New community centre opens its doors to the public this weekend

The new Waterfront Adventure Centre is set to open this weekend and is offering the public an array of fun and active seasonal activities to try out this summer.

The new centre, located at 18 McPhail Avenue, includes canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards available for use, as well as tennis courts, pickleball courts, a beach volleyball court, a cafe, and a patio to enjoy the view.

The Waterfront Adventure Centre is operated by Sault College, but open to the entire community to use. Memberships are available, but not required, and all rentals at the facility can be done on a pay-per-use basis for non-members.
