Sault Ste Marie Police Service says the crime is now considered solved

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are looking for the public’s help in identifying two female suspects involved in a theft.
On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at approximately 9:30 a.m. an elderly female entered Wal-Mart on Great Northern Road with her walker valued at $500. She left the walker near the front of the store and upon return she discovered it had been stolen.
The two suspects were caught on video surveillance.
