On July 24, 2016 at around 12:15 a.m. a female and male entered the Pita Pit located at 659 Queen Street East.

The female and a male friend came in and ordered a pita and when the server handed the suspect her pita she ripped it from the servers hand.

The server requested the suspect not come back that night due to the disrespectful behaviour. After 10 minutes the suspect attended the Pita Pit again and an argument ensued with the server.

The female suspect spat in the server's face and when the server confronted the suspect the male suspect came out of his vehicle and also spat in the server's face. The two fled the area in a black SUV.

The suspects were caught on video surveillance and the video can be viewed on the Sault Ste Marie Crime Stoppers YouTube page.
