VIDEO: Break and enter to Ojibway Park office

Approximately $45,500 worth of property was stolen

Crime Stoppers and the Anishinabek Police Service are looking for the public’s help in solving a break enter and theft to a business.

Sometime between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, 2016, a male suspect kicked in the door of the Ojibway Park Main Office located on Highway 17B on the Garden River First Nation.

Video surveillance shows the suspect entering the business. The suspect is described as male, approximately 5’8” tall, wearing a light coloured towel covering his head. This suspect stole keys from the main office.

A suspect is then observed on video kicking in the garage door.

Items stolen from the garage included a John Deere Gator utility vehicle, a Mahindra red 4 x 4 utility vehicle and a 3000 watt Chapin gas powered generator.  In total, approximately $45,500 worth of property was stolen.
