Meet Ward 4 candidate Tim Marsh

SooToday asked each of the candidates to submit a bio to introduce themselves to voters. Meet Ward 4 candidate Tim Marsh:

Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Tim Marsh lives and breaths this city. Just 30 years old and happily married to Melissa Marsh. With two children Aidan (9) and Holly (4), he keeps busy. Tim has worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years, with 8 of those years being management. Tim is no stranger to long hours or hard work, even known to work 80+ hours in a week. "I've always said I don't work hard for myself; I work hard for those who I care about and those who work hard for me." He has had the privilege of serving this community for years and running for council is just another way to do that. "Council is a service industry just as much as any restaurant. We are just looking to serve the people, give them an experience they will remember and work hard to make them happy. After all, the customer is always right!"

Tim decided to put his name in for council in the hope to give back to a community that has already given him so much. He looks forward to helping create opportunities to learn, grow and strive for new heights. His goal is simple; Restore Sault Ste. Marie, our community, to what it once was and finally move forward.
