The Sault Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is hosting their first in-person concert since 2020, and judging by public interest so far, the return to live performances is much anticipated.

With just under a week until the Sault Syphony’s Mozart at the Movies, limited tickets for the event remain.

The movie-themed concert will be held on May 15 at the Bushplane Heritage Centre and feature  popular scores from film and television including Game of Thrones, Schindler’s List and Amadeus.

“The Sault Symphony Orchestra is very excited to invite the community to attend its first in-person orchestral concert since the start of the pandemic,” the organization said in a press release. “Under the direction of the SSO’s new Artistic Director, Stephen Mallinger, you’ll get to enjoy the beautiful music of the largest ensemble of SSO players since 2020.”

To round out the movie experience, Cornucopia Gourmet Popcorn and other refreshments will be available for purchase.

Only 300 tickets to Mozart at the Movies will be sold. Tickets can be purchased online at saultsymphony.ca
