I-75 business spur traffic shift Wednesday

Traffic will be shifted on I-75 Business Spur (BS) in Sault Ste. Marie Wednesday, June 27, as part of the ongoing Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) construction project. 

Traffic is currently limited to one lane in each direction on the southbound lanes. Contractors will be onsite Wednesday to extend the length of the existing work zone south and shift traffic.

The work zone will be extended to the ramps at the I-75 BS/Three Mile Road interchange. Traffic lanes will be shifted to the west edge of the pavement, with traffic running on temporary pavement in some areas.

Motorists should expect brief delays. Drive with caution and obey all traffic signs and flag controls.
