SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH. – Lake Superior State University is holding a Junior App Day for area high school juniors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., June 21, at the LSSU Library.

College-bound students and their families not only have an opportunity to learn about Lake State, but can apply for free and receive an admission decision within minutes by self-reporting their GPA and SAT scores.

The two-hour event includes food, games, a campus tour, meeting the faculty, and a warm welcome as a Laker. The first 100 registrants get a free LSSU tee-shirt.

“We want to be the first application our local students submit and the first university to give them an answer in their college search process,” said Admissions Director Lauren Paitson. “Although we are targeting this event for students in Chippewa, Mackinac, Luce, Cheboygan, Emmet and Presque Isle Counties, we would encourage any high school juniors thinking about Lake State to attend.”

Register online here or call 906-635-2231.
