VIDEO: SooToday surprises a special veteran this Remembrance Day

Described as a soldier's soldier, retired Lieutenant-Colonel Lance Knox spent over 40 years serving our country

In honour of Remembrance Day, SooToday's Jasmyn Rowley surprised a local veteran with a Random Act of Kindness.

Retired Lieutenant-Colonel Lance Knox joined the 49th Field Artillery Regiment at the young age of 16, rising through the ranks to eventually command the regiment.

He comes from a family of veterans and soldiers and proudly served our country until his retirement.

We were thrilled to surprise Lance with a meaningful gift this Remembrance Day in honour of all he has done and continues to do to serve our community and country.

Thank you to our generous sponsors, Henderson Metal and Aurora's Hillside, for helping to make this Random Act of Kindness possible.
