VIDEO: On the first day of Christmas, we deliver our biggest Random Act of Kindness yet!

Watch as we surprise a local couple with a life-changing gift

Diana and Tim are described as generous, loving and dedicated community members who have positively impacted countless lives here in Sault Ste. Marie,

The couple, who have been fostering children for many years, recently marked an incredible milestone in their journey of helping others by welcoming their 100th foster baby into their home.

Their family members, friends and families who have been supported by Diana and Tim wrote to SooToday to tell us what an inspiring couple they are and how seriously they take their role as foster parents.

Even after the children they foster move on to their permanent homes, Diana and Tim offer support through babysitting, continue to reach out with letters and birthday cards, and make it a priority to stay connected with the children and their families.

Their kindness and caring over the years have resulted in a ripple of heartwarming stories throughout our community.

To celebrate Diana and Tim and thank them for their years of giving back to Sault Ste. Marie, our friends at Algoma Steel provided a life-changing gift that will help them continue their meaningful work with children in need of care in our community.

Watch as we surprise Diana and Tim with our biggest Random Act of Kindness yet!

A sincere thank you to Algoma Steel for making this Random Act of Kindness possible.

Next year marks our 12th year of 12 Days of Christmas Random Acts of Kindness surprises. Do you want to help us give back through this program? Email us at [email protected] to get involved.
