A young person has been arrested and charged after failing to comply with their release order, OPP say.
Police say they were informed on Tuesday shortly after 1:45 p.m. that a young person from Thessalon was to contact the supervisor of a bail program once a week and hadn't since mid-September.
The individual was arrested on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and charged with failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court, contrary to section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on Dec. 10, 2020.
