MACDONALD-MERIDITH-ABERDEEN-ADDITIONAL TOWNSHIP - On Aug. 16, 2019 at approximately 9:00 p.m. members of the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were on general patrol on Highway 17B, MacDonald-Meridith-Aberdeen-Additional Township, Ontario.
Officers observed a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) infraction on an eastbound motor vehicle.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on the said vehicle and as a result of further investigation, Autumn Connolly, 39 years old from Macdonal-Meredith-Aberdeen- Additional Township, was charged with the following:
- Failure or refusal to comply with breath demand, contrary to section 320.15(1) of the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on September 9, 2019 located at 426 Queen Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
