MINOR INJURIES IN MOTORCYCLE COLLISION Prince Twp. A Sault man received minor injuries after his motorcycle slid out from under him. Yesterday at about 1:30 p.m., the driver, John Maione, age 25, was westbound on Hwy 550.

A Sault man received minor injuries after his motorcycle slid out from under him.

Yesterday at about 1:30 p.m., the driver, John Maione, age 25, was westbound on Hwy 550. Maione advised police that he hit some gravel on the roadway and his bike slide from underneath him.

He was taken to hospital by private vehicle, treated for minor injuries and released. No charges were laid.


WINDOWS SHOT OUT OF PARKED CAR

The Batchawana First Nation Police is investigating an incident where the side window of a parked truck was shot out with a pellet gun.

The truck was parked at the Rankin Arena. The owner returned to the truck just after dark and saw that the driver’s door window had been shot several times. There were also dents in the side of the truck.
