YOU'VE HAD WHAT STOLEN???
Heyden, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating two break and enters where the stolen property is just a little unusual.

Yesterday, OPP were called to a vacant home on Cedar Court in Heyden. The caretaker of the home advised that the house had been entered and one part off the furnace had been stolen.

While at this scene the officer was advised that a second home on Wildwood Drive, not far from Cedar Court, had been unlawfully entered and another part off that furnace had been removed. The value of the two missing parts is about $300.00.

The investigation indicates that these two thefts may have been committed in the past several days. Last year, in the same neighbourhood, OPP investigated complaints of stolen fuel oil from outside furnace storage tanks.
