Members of the Sault Ste Marie OPP and other police services will be spending lots of time at McDonalds today.
Today is McHappy Day at all McDonalds across Canada. Members of Sault Ste Marie OPP have volunteered to help raise money for Ronald McDonald Children's Charities as well as one of our own local children's charity.
This year, proceeds from the sales will go towards the CHILDREN'S REHABILITATION CENTER-ALGOMA. This center provides emotional, physical, and equipment support to children with various physical and emotional disabilities right across Algoma District.
Today when you purchase a Breakfast Bagel, Happy Meal, or Big Mac McDonald's will donate one dollar of each purchase to the charities.
Starting at 11:00 a.m. and continuing right through the day Police Officers from Sault Ste Marie OPP will be joining their counterparts in policing by serving you your meal and assisting the children and parents of Algoma. Drive
