NO INJURIES IN MOOSE COLLISION

Heyden, Ont.,

No one was injured after a pick up truck struck a moose on Hwy 17 in the Heyden area last night.

Last night at about 10:30 p.m. a pick up truck was northbound on Hwy 17 at the bottom of the Mile Hill about 25 kms north of Sault Ste Marie. The truck struck and killed a moose that was on the roadway. The pick up truck was extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
