Disturbance Leads To Charges

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) On March 29th, 2005at approximately 4:50 p.m. the OPP received a call to attend a local restaurant in regards to a female customer causing a disturbance. Investigation revealed that the suspect was at the restaurant with a friend when she began to shout and exchange insults with an unknown party. While police were talking with the alleged suspect, she began shouting to police. She was then arrested and placed a police cruiser. The suspect when placed in the police cruiser began to kick at a window causing damage.

Charged with Causing a Disturbance and Mischief Under $5,000.00 is Loraine Yvonne Francine LAPLANTE (37) of Elliot Lake.

LAPLANTE is scheduled to appear in court on May 3rd, 2005.
