CAR-MOOSE COLLISSION Batchewana, Ontario Yesterday at 11:30 p.m., the Sault O.P.P. and the Batchewana Fire Department responded to another car-moose accident on Highway 17 in the Batchewana area north of Sault Ste. Marie.

Yesterday at 11:30 p.m., the Sault O.P.P. and the Batchewana Fire Department responded to another car-moose accident on Highway 17 in the Batchewana area north of Sault Ste. Marie. The 71-year-old driver from the Kitchener area was taken to Sault Area Hospitals with serious but non-life threatening facial injuries.

Police again caution motorists to take extra care when driving at night with the increase in collisions involving deer and moose.
