Sault Ste Marie OPP is delighted to report only one collision and no injuries in the entire Sault Ste Marie O.P.P. patrol area from yesterday's snowfall.

At about 9:00 a.m. yesterday morning a tractor-trailer jackknifed on Hwy 17 just south of the Ministry of Transportation Inspection Station in Heyden. A large tow truck pulled the truck back on the highway and the transport was on its way.

Thank you to everyone who decided not to venture out into the blowing and drifting snow and congratulations to all motorist who did slow down in the poor weather and had a collision and injury-free trip.
