IT DID GET SLIPPERY OUT THERE!!
Goulais River, Ont.,

The small amount of snow that fell overnight in the Sault Ste Marie area was just enough to cause headaches for two truck drivers.

At about 8:00 p.m. last night a transport slid into the ditch on Hwy 17 near the Goulais River bridge. There were no injuries and the truck was able to be driven away after it was removed.

About two hours later, near 10:00 p.m., another transport got stuck on the Mile Hill on Hwy 17 between Heyden and Goulais River. A heavy dose of road sand by the Ministry of Transportation and a lot of manual shoveling was just what the driver needed to get his rig up and over the hill.
