Car Collides with Moose on Mile Hill A Goulais River man and a female passenger from the Sault were injured from an early morning collision with a moose at the top of the Mile Hill at approximately 12:01 a.m.

A Goulais River man and a female passenger from the Sault were injured from an early morning collision with a moose at the top of the Mile Hill at approximately 12:01 a.m. Donald Irwin, age 28 was traveling south bound on Highway 17 North when the Chevrolet CZ2 car he was driving collided with a moose on the roadway.

Mr. Irwin and his passenger received minimal injuries that they did not want treatment for. The vehicle received damage to the front end.

The moose was pronounced dead at the scene.
