MOTORCYCLE-PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT Yesterday at 4:30 p.m., the Sault O.P.P. investigated a serious motorcycle-pedestrian accident on Elizabeth Street in Echo Bay. A youth was run over by a motorcycle operated by another youth.

Yesterday at 4:30 p.m., the Sault O.P.P. investigated a serious motorcycle-pedestrian accident on Elizabeth Street in Echo Bay. A youth was run over by a motorcycle operated by another youth. The victim was treated and released by Sault Area Hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The owner was charged under the highway traffic act with allowing an unlicenced person to operate the motorcycle.

VEHICLE ENDS UP IN DITCH
Yesterday at 8:00 p.m., the Sault detachment responded to a motor vehicle accident on the Northland Lake Road in Deroche Township. The driver lost control and came to rest in a ditch. The vehicle was damaged and had to be towed. There were no injuries or charges.
