TODAY IS WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION “ROAD SAFETY DAY”
Sault Ste Marie, Ont.,

The World Health Organization has designated today as “ROAD SAFETY DAY” around the world. According to the Organization in excess of 1,000,000 people around the world are killed in traffic crashes every year.

Today the Ontario Provincial Police, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, will devote as much time as possible to traffic enforcement across the Sault Ste Marie area and across the Province.

Buckle up, slow down and be aware of your driving habits and mannerism today and every day. Be part of the solution – not part of the problem.
