FAST POLICE WORK SOLVES THEFT
On Tuesday, a wallet with credit cards was stolen from a car parked at a church in Spragge. The owner quickly cancelled the cards after learning they had been stolen. That allowed police to track the cards, which were used to buy gas and food in Blind River.

Police from the East Algoma detachment passed along the vehicle description to the Sault O.P.P. who spotted the car in Garden River. Police apprehended the occupants for the theft of the wallet and use of the stolen cards. The investigation revealed that the car had been stolen in Mississauga, Ontario.

Charged with several offences including theft and possession of stolen property are two 15-year-old female young offenders and a 15-year-old male all from the London, Ontario area. All three will appear in youth court today.
