The victim of a fatal Highway 17 north collision has been identified as Donald Carroll-Burns of Wawa, Ont., reported the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in a news release issued today.
Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Batchawana Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a single motor vehicle crash near Batchawana early Sunday morning.
Investigation determined that a northbound vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, entered a ditch, and rolled.
The 31-year-old driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
